Making Donations
The PEER Center is a non-profit organization, funded by the State of Florida Department of Children and Families and by a smaller matching grant from Broward County. We serve the mental health community of South Florida, and many of our members are indigent or may live off a fixed income. As such, we graciously accept all useable donations in the areas of clothing (men’s and women’s only) household goods and computers. We are a Microsoft Authorized Refurbisher and offer reconditioned computers to our members and the general public for extremely low prices, making computer technology available to most people. We cannot, however, accept any computers that are slower than 400 MHz as they will not run any of today’s applications.
